Our Mission

Our mission is to equip and empower the global Church and partner organizations to engage in cross-cultural discipleship, foster cross-cultural leadership, and cultivate cross-cultural collaboration.

The Problem: God connects the dots between us and the world He loves. However, there is a significant gap in churches and organizations when it comes to engaging in cross-cultural discipleship and fostering cross-cultural leadership.

  • Many disciple people who are like them or from similar backgrounds, but Scripture also calls us to go beyond our own culture or background and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).

  • Most training, resources, and strategic planning for cross-cultural discipleship and leadership focus on overseas missions, but God calls us to engage cross-culturally both at home and abroad.

The Solution: International Life exists to equip, empower, and train churches and organizations to engage people from other cultures in discipleship, seeing them as co-laborers and leaders in the harvest, both in the U.S. and abroad. We believe this will bring us closer to fulfilling Jesus' mandate to make disciples of all nations.

Our focus will be on the following:

  • resource development

  • training (including Cultural Intelligence, or CQ)

  • networking & collaboration

  • strategic planning

  • leadership development through a spiritual and biblical framework

Goals for 2025:

  • To collaborate with and equip five churches or organizations—four based in the U.S. and one internationally—in cross-cultural discipleship and leadership.

    • U.S. Projects: International Life will partner with four U.S. based churches or organizations in 2025 to help them on their journey to welcome internationals and move them to a place of belonging in their churches. Whether this be international students, refugees, immigrant professionals, or people outside their normal circle of influence, we will partner with them in their strategies and goals. This will happen through assessments we provide, training for staff and members, coaching, and thinking through better processes and pathways to help disciple cross-culturally and move these disciples to a place of belonging, leadership, and influence as co-laborers for God’s Kingdom.

    • International Project: International Life’s 2025 international project is in Kenya (click on “Projects” to learn more about this project.
